I will never forget attending a reading of this play in Oslo on the night of the U.S. presidential election. Nor, I believe, will anyone else who was there. The performance connected us directly to the historic moment we were living through, capturing both the personal and the political with a rare immediacy that only theatre can sometimes achieve. Sadly, the play has lost none of its urgency since then. If you're lucky enough to catch the fully staged production at the Edinburgh Fringe, don't miss the opportunity. Saw this play in Oslo just before the US elections. Great entertainment, just a pity the election did not go as well as the play.
